It was a Thursday so naturally I found mself on a plane, flying to Washington. This Thursday, however, brought me to Seattle (instead of the Tri-cities like last week).
As we were coming in on our final descent, and before we went back under the clouds I couldn't help just wonder at how clouds actually work. The ones we were flying over were perfect puffs that looked like cotton candy because of the pink setting sun.
I have lived in Utah for 8 months now and I agree with everyone that its is gorgeous and a wonderful place to live, but I can't get over how incredibly amazing Western Washington is. As we were coming in over the Sound, all I could see were beautiful lakes, trees, and hills.
It is stunning and I miss it. Here's to spending five days in its splendor.
