A Drive Up the Canyon

Everyone has been telling me for weeks that right now is the perfect time for a drive up the canyon but it wasn't true until yesterday. The trees have been changing for the past couple weeks and it has been a little bittersweet.

It wasn't until I looked out at the mountain the other day and saw all the different colors that were all over it that I was okay with Fall.  It helped that the temperature had risen to above freezing again and that the sun was shining. 

So, roomie and I went for a quick drive on gorgeous sunny Friday.  I was afraid of losing the perfect day and sunlight, so the second I got home from school we made a CD for the drive and took off.

It was more gorgeous in person, the pics don't do it justice.

    ps...the word for the little word verification was "potions"...was that because Halloween is coming up? Spoooooky.

    We can totes drive up the canyon but i can not guarantee that there will be any leaves on the trees by the time you get here. i'll pray tho :)
