1. In the summer time, but only after weeks and weeks of sun and hot weather. Usually one day of clouds and a light sprinkle to rehydrate is wonderful. Or, during a hot day, having the clouds roll in and cool things down just enough to make outside the perfect temperature.
2. On winter mornings right after the sun has come up so you can't tell at what angle the sun is hitting the earth. The sun still lights everything up so its anybody's guess as to whether it's morning or afternoon. It's then that I like to pretend that it is afternoon and I didn't just wake up to get into my freezing car and head off to work.
Every once in a while it's nice. It was nice this morning.
