Rice Krispies Addicts

One reason that I love my family is that we want to spend time together.  As much as Patricia will say otherwise, he really does like hanging with the fam.

So last night when I said I wanted to make a ton of rice krispies and have a sculpting contest, he was in.  It was probably the competition that won him over--what we Robinson's would do to win a competition could fill an inner city library. 

Geoff helped me whip up a double batch of treats which turned out to be too little, what with Matt grabbing gobs of it to smash out enough to cookie cutter out eight million ginger bread shaped treats.

SO, we made another double batch and continued sculpting.

My friend Alexis came over and was the judge once we were done with our masterpieces.  Matt was the winner and his prize was a hug--from Lex so it was a legit prize in his eyes!!

After our contest we had a magic show by Geoff's friend who was spending the night.  If I had been as cool as that kid is when I was his age, right now I would be Hermione Granger.

Currently, I am sitting between my two little homeslices while they play robot unicorn and santa ragdoll games as we jam out to Bon Jovi, a personal favorite of Matt.

In other super cool news, our oven is out of commission for a while because the glass exploded off the door when my mom turned it to self clean.  ????
