Alfredo Sauce

One of my absolute favorite things is garlic. I love the way it smells fresh and when it's cooking--I don't even mind the smell of it on my hands from peeling it, it reminds me that I made something awesome ha.  And I'll have nothing to worry about in a vampire attack.

I add it to many things that are maybe unconventional, but one of my favorite things to use it in is Alfredo sauce. I use the sauce in so many different recipes and just straight up on noodles with a bit of pesto mixed in.  SO GOOD.  And really simply and easy, too. After my first time making it, I could never go back to store bought.

Alfredo Sauce

1/2 c butter
2-3 cloves garlic
2 c heavy whipping cream
2 c shredded parmesan cheese
1/4 c parsley

Peel and mince the garlic, then heat together with butter in saucepan on medium low heat until butter is melted and garlic is slightly cooked.  Pour in the heavy cream and heat until simmering, then remove from heat and whisk in shredded cheese. When all is incorporated, stir in parsley and serve immediately or use in a recipe.

Makes about 3 cups sauce
